A large rally and ceremony were held in Miranshah on Monday to mark Youm-ul-Fath and express solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces amid recent tensions with India. The event was jointly organised by the district administration, tribal elders, scholars, local government representatives, teachers, students, political and social organisations, and police officials.
The rally, which began at Eidgah Gate and concluded at Younis Khan Sports Complex, drew a large crowd waving Pakistani flags and holding banners bearing slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Long Live the Pakistan Army,” and “Indian Aggression is Unacceptable.” Participants condemned the recent Indian attack and praised the swift and effective response by Pakistan’s military.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Muhammad Yousuf Karim strongly condemned Indian aggression and reaffirmed unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces.
“Pakistan has become an invincible country. No power in the world can defeat it,” said Karim. “The baseless narratives propagated by certain elements have been buried today. Pakistan will lead the Islamic world, and we stand united with our armed forces.”

Maulana Nek Zaman Haqqani, Chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Tehsil, echoed the sentiment, stating that the people of North Waziristan have always stood shoulder to shoulder with the military.
“The Pakistani army is a symbol of our national defence. Their courage, sacrifices, and professionalism are a source of pride for the entire nation,” he said. “We will not compromise on the country’s sovereignty.”
Speakers lauded the Pakistan Air Force for downing Indian aircraft in response to the unprovoked attack and emphasised that the tribal communities will always be at the forefront of the nation’s defence.
The rally concluded with prayers for national security, peace, prosperity, and the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.
