ABBOTTABAD: Commissioner Hazara Division, Mr. Fayaz Ali Shah, conducted a surprise visit to the Revenue Office in Abbottabad on Thursday. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Captain (R) Sanaullah Khan. The visit aimed to review services related to land registration, issuance of property records (Fard), and property transfers.
During the visit, Commissioner Fayaz Ali Shah met directly with the citizens present at the office, listened to their concerns, and issued on-the-spot directives for prompt resolution. He inspected various service counters, including the Qanoongo Office, Sub-Registrar Office, Inheritance Transfers, and Litigation Office, directing the relevant officers to address public grievances efficiently and without delay.
In an effort to enhance accessibility and efficiency, the Commissioner instructed the establishment of dedicated service counters for women and senior citizens. He also ordered an increase in the number of counters for Fard issuance and registration services to reduce waiting times and improve service delivery.
Highlighting recent developments, Commissioner Shah informed the public that services such as registry and property transfer are being decentralised to Patwar circles, and work has been completed in two localities. These services will be made available at the local level following final approval from the provincial government.
