PESHAWAR: A protest was held at Bacha Khan Chowk in Landi Kotal Bazaar, organized by Tehreek-e-Pakistan , against Israeli aggression and atrocities in Palestine.
The protesters carried Palestinian flags and placards bearing slogans of solidarity and sympathy with Palestinian Muslims.
Addressing the rally, Mohammad Sadiq Banori, Amir of Landi Kotal, Noshad, Asif Rubani of Tehsil Jamrud, and others stated that now is the time for jihad against Israel, as its atrocities against Palestinian Muslims have reached a peak.
They emphasised that Muslims should make both financial and personal sacrifices in support of their Palestinian brothers. They expressed sorrow over the United Nations’ indifference and silence, calling for an open declaration of war from Muslim countries.
They stated that the scholars have issued a fatwa for jihad, and now it is the responsibility of the Pakistani state to take a clear stance against Israel’s ongoing atrocities against Palestinian Muslims. They also urged Muslim countries to unite and send a message to the world through the use of nuclear power, showing that Muslims stand together, and any oppression of Muslims will lead to the use of this power against the oppressors.
They declared that they are ready to make any sacrifice for their Palestinian Muslim brothers.
The protesters chanted slogans in support of Palestinian Muslims and against Israel.
