SWABI: The body of seven-year-old Sharjeel, son of a professor at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Science and Technology, Topi, was recovered from a drain with mark of wild animal attack on Wednesday night.
This sad incident took place when Sharjeel went missing, and the family members were searching the area and later informed the Rescue 1122 control room. The Rescue 1122 Swabi team reached the spot as soon as it was informed, and after two hours of continuous search, the body of the child was recovered from the drain and shifted to Topi Hospital.
According to initial information, the child was allegedly attacked by wild Boars. After which, he fell into the drain due to fear. The severe injuries and bite marks on the body indicate that Sharjeel died on the spot. Sharjeel’s parents belong to the Swat district.
