Gold rates in Pakistan saw a significant rise, hitting a new all-time high in response to sharp gains in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs7,800, reaching Rs350,000 on Monday, up from Rs342,200 on the previous trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs6,687, now priced at Rs300,068, compared to Rs293,381 earlier.
Silver also followed the upward trend, with the per tola silver rate increasing by Rs43, now standing at Rs3,425.
On the global front, gold prices surged by $76, climbing to $3,316 per ounce, up from $3,240, contributing to the local market hike.
