Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir said they know very well how to defend the country’s integrity. Pakistan’s befitting reply to India’s aggression echoed not only across the border but was heard around the world.
COAS Syed Asim Munir said in a statement on Monday that the Pakistani army had given a befitting reply to India’s aggression, the echo of which was not only heard across the border, but the entire world has recognised Pakistan’s military capability, determination and sacrifice. Through “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos”, Pakistan demonstrated its defensive power, national unity and determination and gave a practical and befitting reply to India.
He said Pakistan had warned India several times not to consider Pakistan’s desire for peace as weakness. “We had made it clear that any aggression would be given a befitting reply. Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos is the fulfilment of this promise made to the nation, Alhamdulillah!” COAS said.
Army Chief General Asim Munir had quoted verses of the Holy Quran and said that with the help and support of Allah, how many times has it happened that a small force defeated a large force?
The Chief of the Pakistan Army said Alhamdulillah! History has proven that the Pakistani army and the nation have proven to be a strong leaden wall against every threat.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan has a strong defence capability to protect territorial integrity and sovereignty. “We know very well how to defend the integrity of the country,” COAS stated.
He further said that 1.3 million Indian troops could not intimidate them with all their weapons, “Our ancestors and we have made immense sacrifices to build this country, and we also know how to protect it,” He said.
