Prominent religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has appealed to the nation to generously help those affected by the recent floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that the suffering of the victims is our collective suffering, and they should support them this difficult time.
Addressing the ceremony, Maulana Tariq Jameel said that the floods in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to climate change have caused great destruction, and countless people have become homeless and destitute.
He said that Islam teaches us to help those in trouble, and if we live according to Islamic teachings, success can be achieved in this world and the hereafter. Maulana Tariq Jameel said, “Life is a trust, we should cherish it and prepare for our hereafter.”
Maulana Tariq Jameel urged the youth to use social media for positive purposes. He said that in today’s era, it is a powerful tool which, if used correctly, can spread the message of awareness, goodness and reform in society.
Maulana said that we should make Islamic principles a part of our daily lives. This is the path that can bring peace to a person in this world and salvation in the hereafter.
