JUI-S Questions Delays in Maulana Hamidul Haq Murder Investigation

NAWSHEHRA: Maulana Abdul Haq Sani, the Central Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S), on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of progress in the investigation into the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq, stating that it raises serious concerns about the state’s competence.

Speaking to various JUI-S delegations from different districts, Maulana Sani claimed that the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq would prove to be a catalyst for an Islamic revolution in Pakistan, asserting that “anti-Islamic forces” could not undermine his mission.

“The entire nation has stood with us in our grief, which has strengthened our resolve,” he said, praising the youth for their enthusiasm and patriotism. He expressed confidence that young Islamists would soon join JUI-S in its struggle for the country’s welfare and the eradication of oppression.

Maulana Sani vowed to continue the mission of both Maulana Hamidul Haq and his father, Maulana Samiul Haq, announcing that JUI-S would hold condolence conferences nationwide after Eid to honour the slain leader. He also pledged to reorganise the party to strengthen its ideological outreach.
