ANP opts for simple Eid celebrations amid KP, Balochistan unrest

PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party ANP has announced that it will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with simplicity this year due to the ongoing unrest and challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

ANP Central President Senator Aimal Wali Khan issued a statement directing party workers and officials to avoid crowded gatherings and unnecessary festivities, emphasizing solidarity with those affected by the region’s difficulties.

Khan urged ANP members to support impoverished and deserving families during Eid, encouraging them to share happiness within their means. He stated that the current situation demands a focus on simplicity and compassion, aligning with the party’s longstanding principles of equality and public service.
