SWAT: The Swat police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a father and his two sons who allegedly killed his daughter in the name of honor. The accused had declared the girl’s murder a natural death.
The incident of the girl’s murder took place the other day. The police had received information that the girl had been killed in Shah Dherai, and the accused were trying to turn the murder into a natural death.
The Shah Dherai police station, however, reached the site and started an investigation. It was found that the victim was killed by her father and her two brothers in the name of honor.
DPO Swat Nasir Mahmood took notice of the incident and directed the police to take immediate action. The Shah Dhera police station took action, arrested the accused, lodged an FIR and began further interrogation into the case.
