Gold prices plummeted by thousands of rupees on the last trading day of the week in Pakistan, following a downward trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association*, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs 5,500, settling at Rs 320,000. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 4,714, closing at Rs 274,348.
In the global market, gold also saw a significant dip, falling by $51 to $3,038 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan followed the trend, with the rate per tola declining by Rs 460to Rs 3,120.

The drop in prices comes amid fluctuating global commodity trends and currency movements. Market analysts suggest that further adjustments may follow depending on international economic indicators.
