NOWSHERA: At least five individuals, including a woman and child, were injured in a hand grenade attack targeted at the residence of a tribal leader in the Akbar Pura area of Nowshera district.
Nowshera police confirmed that the attackers hurled two grenades, but one failed to explode. The blast caused partial damage to the house of the tribal leader.
Among the injured are three men, one woman, and one child. They were initially treated at Pabbi Hospital and later transferred to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar for further medical care.

According to reports, tribal leader Sardar Ali reportedly had no known enemies. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
