Khawaja Asif calls PTI chief an “international thief”

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif

SIALKOT: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif criticized PTI’s founder, calling him an “international thief” during a rally. He claimed PTI lacks public support and consists of people whose own families don’t vote for them.

Asif recalled that when Imran Khan was prime minister, he avoided security meetings, even after an incident involving an Indian plane. Now, as “Prisoner 804,” he demands to be included in meetings.

The defense minister praised PM Shahbaz Sharif for reducing electricity costs, calling it an unthinkable achievement a year ago. He highlighted economic recovery efforts and ongoing development projects.

Asif stated that PML-N and its allies focus on serving the nation, contrasting it with PTI’s governance. He credited the no-confidence motion for removing PTI from power.
