Mardan admin bans aerial firing, fireworks on Eid

 

MARDAN: Mardan deputy commissioner has imposed a ban on aerial firing, fireworks, sale and purchase of toy guns and arms display on Eid-ul-Fitr.

The DC Mardan Dr Azmatullah Wazir issued a notification on Tuesday imposing the ban under section 144 of CrPc across Mardan district on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Mardan, there is a complete ban on aerial firing and fireworks, and the sale and purchase of toy weapons are prohibited.

In addition, bathing in canals, Kalpani etc. has also been banned, the installation and sale of black glasses has been banned, and one-wheeling has been completely banned.

The notification said that the order would remain enforced for the next 10 days.

The deputy commissioner Mardan warned that legal action would be taken under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code in case of violation.

To ensure the implementation of the orders of Section 144, instructions have been issued to the District Police Chief and all Assistant Commissioners for implementation.
