DIR-UPPER: A tragic landslide in the Sari Banda area of Warri tehsil, Upper Dir, claimed the lives of a mother and her young daughter on Thursday.
The victims, identified as 30-year-old Muniba Bibi and her 5-year-old daughter Umayya, were caught in the landslide while visiting a nearby forest.
Despite immediate rescue efforts by locals, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Villagers later recovered the bodies and handed them over to grieving relatives. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Jagam Police Station.
