UAE DPM, Minister of Foreign Affairs arrive in Pakistan today

 

 

ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is scheduled to visit Pakistan on 20-21 April. According to a press release from the Foreign Office spokesperson, this significant visit highlights the strong, brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE and emphasises their mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation across various areas of interest.

During his stay, Sheikh Abdullah will engage in discussions with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. The talks will cover a wide range of bilateral relations, with a particular emphasis on trade and investment, energy cooperation, regional security, and people-to-people connections.

This visit will also allow both nations to share perspectives on regional and global developments that are of mutual concern. The Deputy Prime Ministers last convened in Abu Dhabi on 21 February of this year. Sheikh Abdullah is also expected to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, reaffirming a shared vision for regional peace and prosperity.

The spokesman noted that Sheikh Abdullah’s visit will further strengthen the long-standing ties between Pakistan and the UAE, fostering deeper engagement across various fields to benefit the people of both nations.
