Shooting incident in Kurram district leaves two dead, 1 injured

 

PESHAWAR: A youth was shot dead in the limits of Mathra, Bara bridge in Peshawar here on Sunday late evening. The motive behind the murder is said to be a petty issue.

According to the police, a young man identified as Waqar Khan was shot dead near the Bara bridge area of ​​Mathra, a suburb of Peshawar.

The police said the victim belonged to Phase 4 of Hayatabad, Peshawar and was reportedly killed by his friend, an unknown resident of Assam.

The reason is said to be a verbal altercation. Local police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital, while a thorough investigation has been launched from various angles to find out the real facts and trace the accused.
