ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has publicly accused Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, and Bushra Bibi of fostering a toxic environment within the party, claiming they exhibit “inhumane behavior” toward senior leaders. In an interview with a private tv channel, Marwat alleged Aleema Khan controls PTI’s social media operations and uses it to target dissenters, including himself.
Marwat claimed he faced expulsion from PTI three times, orchestrated by Aleema Khan, after refusing to align with her faction. He accused her of sending him abusive videos and manipulating social media campaigns against him. Despite raising concerns directly with Imran Khan, Marwat said Aleema continued to undermine him, leading to internal divisions.

He cited an incident during Ramadan where Aleema allegedly barred Barrister Gohar from leaving a meeting for Iftar, stating, “You cannot move from here.” Marwat also criticized PTI leaders like Omar Ayub and Junaid Akbar for lacking courage to address the alleged abuse, claiming decisions are no longer merit-based.
Marwat challenged PTI’s leadership to a public debate, predicting colleague Junaid Akbar’s “condition will worsen” within months. He emphasized loyalty to Imran Khan but rejected Aleema’s influence, declaring, “His relatives cannot be our leaders.”
