Swati rejects deal claims, says PTI pushed Imran Khan for dialogue

Imran Khan Ready for Talks but Won’t Bend, Says PTI’s Azam Swati

ISLAMABAD :Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati stated on Monday that party chairman Imran Khan remains willing to engage in dialogue for the sake of Pakistan, but will not bend to pressure or accept any deal that compromises his principles.

In a video statement, Swati referenced the Hudaibiyah peace treaty, comparing it to Khan’s stance, which he described as a “clear victory.” He claimed that Khan, despite being imprisoned, remains resolute and is “happier in jail than in the Zaman Parak.”

Swati emphasized that Khan’s openness to talks should not be seen as weakness but as a sign of leadership. “We presuaded Imran Khan for talks for Pakistan’s future,” he said, adding that no external force could force Khan into a compromise.

The PTI leader also asserted that Khan’s global popularity and strong reputation make him a feared figure among his opponents. “No power has been created yet to bend this brave leader,” Swati declared, vowing that PTI would ultimately emerge victorious.
