Treacherous India targeted our mosques and civilians: Hafiz Naeem

Central Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, stated that treacherous India targeted mosques and civilians — a clear reflection of its brutality and weakness.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, addressed a massive gathering in Malakand on Sunday, calling for unwavering support for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. He described the event as the largest rally in the history of the region and praised the attendees for their turnout despite the intense summer heat.

“I salute all the men and women who have come out in solidarity with the Kashmiris and Palestinians,” he said to the crowd. “For the first time in Malakand’s history, such a grand gathering has taken place, and I salute each one of you.”

Hafiz Naeem condemned India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the region rightfully belongs to Pakistan. “India has occupied our Kashmir, and now is the time to take it back,” he declared. “The day is not far when Kashmir will once again become a part of Pakistan.”

He paid tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for the Kashmiri cause and highlighted ongoing human rights violations in the region. “Our mothers and sisters in Kashmir are being dishonoured. Tourists have been killed, and India has even targeted mosques and civilians.”

Referring to the killing of Sikhs in 2012, which he said India falsely blamed on Pakistan, he stated, “India’s conspiracies have been exposed to the world. Now, they have no option but to engage in dialogue.”

In a rare and direct attack, Hafiz Naeem blamed former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa for the loss of Kashmir. Kashmir was separated from Pakistan because of the weak policies of Imran Khan and General Bajwa. Even Bajwa stated that we don’t have the resources to fight India—such defeatist attitudes cannot be accepted.”

Despite his criticism of past leadership, he expressed strong support for the armed forces of Pakistan. “Pakistan’s defeat of India was magnificent. Our forces have shot down 80 Indian drones and exposed the Modi government’s drama,” he said, adding that “Pakistani technology, forces, and people are capable of competing with any global power.”

He also praised the unity shown by political workers across party lines in countering Indian propaganda on social media.

Reaffirming Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to fighting oppression, he stated, “We have decided to continue our struggle against these atrocities. Every child of ours will stand up for their rights. This is just the beginning.”

He added, “Modi has been humiliated globally, and our soldiers have given a befitting reply. Modi will now be made an example.”

Switching focus to Palestine, Hafiz Naeem urged the Chief of Army Staff to take a proactive stance. “Send a clear message to Israel that if Palestine is harmed, Pakistan will stand against it,” he emphasised.

He criticised former U.S. President Donald Trump for intervening in favour of India, stating, “Trump came to save India when they were defeated. If he truly cared about humanity, he wouldn’t be silent on Palestine.”

Calling for continued economic boycotts of Israeli products, he asserted, “Israel will suffer greatly due to the boycott. We must not stop this process; it’s the only way to bring them to a financial crisis.”

Hafiz Naeem also spoke about national development and the future of the youth. “If Jamaat-e-Islami is given a chance, we will make Pakistan an ideal country. The economy is not the problem—it’s the mindset of the rulers who think we are weak.”

He emphasised the importance of investing in youth and education, saying, “Our youth are our future. We will provide education and employment to every young person.”

Criticising international economic comparisons, he noted, “America is 500 per cent more indebted than Pakistan. We have no reason to fear the U.S.”

In conclusion, he delivered a strong message of unity and resolve: “We must develop in the name of Islam and Pakistan. We will resist both internal and external enemies. Pakistan is a powerful country, and the world recognises this now.”

He called upon the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their support when the time comes: “When I ask for your support, I want you to stand with me. This is not just about politics—it’s about serving the people and resisting the enemy.”
